Well, I promised to keep everyone posted on how Jeremy did on his Police Entrance Exam and no surprise, he passed!! He pretty much knew he passed before he even opened the envelope since it was so thick with more information they need him to fill out for further testing. He was SO SO SO excited and relieved. (Neither of us are very good at waiting!) Now he's been spending all his free time filling out forms - it seriously is a BOOK! The county needs very extensive information...even about our neighbors and my parents (which I thought was a little weird!). Jeremy cracked me up so bad the other day...I was looking through the list of all he has to do before getting officially hired and I saw he has to take a psychological exam that lasts 8 hours...I had no idea he'd have to do that!! I said, "Honey...WOW! You have to take a psychological exam too?" To which he replied, "Yeah, but I'm not crazy so I'm not worried about it!!!" :o) Please keep praying that he gets this job!
Hannah & Savannah are doing well. Hannah is SO close to crawling but sometimes she gets really frustrated and cries until we pick her up. She's been watching Savannah though, so she's thinking about how it all works. One thing that we've been struggling with lately is getting the girls to understand that MOMMY is the boss!!! (especially with Savannah) It is becoming more and more apparent every day that they want to do things THEIR way...I will say "no" and they know EXACTLY what I'm saying but they look away and then do it anyway!! (They get the sin nature from the Dad, right?) :)
We're getting really excited about our trip to NY in a couple weeks. I'm also getting excited because I just recently got in touch with a guy I went to elementary school with (K-5) who still lives in NY. He and his wife are planning on staying with us for one night on the 9th so they can go up to D.C. and see all the sights. They have a little boy who is about the same age as the girls, so it should be really fun. It's always fun to think back and laugh about things that happened when you were a kid.
That's about all that's new with us! Hope you all have a good weekend! Oh, and leave us a note...we love hearing from everyone!!
Glad to hear about the test. Bryan said "Great". Jeremy will make a great officer. Enjoy your trip.
