Sunny Friday

What a gorgeous day it was here today!! It was cooler...about 80 degrees. It was just sunny and the breeze was SO refreshing. We spent a lot of the day outside, which the girls loved. It's been so terribly hot this summer that we haven't been able to get out much until the evenings.

I have some good news (which I will try to simplify cuz it's REALLY hard to explain it all)...Jeremy went and met with a friend today who was able to sign off all his pracs for him! Pracs are a list of job duties that you have to know how to do and you have to show a qualified person that you understand and can accomplish those particular things. At this point they told him if he got that list signed off he wouldn't have to go to A-school. This is a huge answer to my prayers because he would have to wait until January for an opening for A-school, and now he will hopefully be put on a list Sept. 1st for new orders. We're getting really excited!!
Things are definitely looking up and even though we may still have to wait a few more months to get orders, it's better than waiting until next spring/summer. So...thanks to all you guys that are praying for us. We want to leave D.C. ASAP!!!
