Merry Christmas!! (this is a LONG one!!)

Well, Merry Christmas a little late, everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful time with family and friends. We had kind of a quiet Christmas at home this year...nothing too exciting. We watched a lot of basketball & football and ate some good food. We had fun for the most part. Thank you to all of you who sent us gifts and treats this year! We were very blessed and wish we could've seen you all! Thank you for being so generous to us!!!
We took the girls outside to play today...it was pretty cold but we decided they needed some fresh air so we bundled them up and out we went! It was really fun. There's an elementary school behind our apartment complex, and they have a really nice playground that is open to the public after school hours. We let them go down the slide and on the swings, but the swinging was by far the funnest for them. Got a lot of cute little laughs out of that! Here's a few pictures...

Wanted to share some other news with everyone. Jeremy had a background interview with Fairfax County last week and it went very well. They basically just sat down with him for a few hours and went over all the information on the forms he filled out in the very beginning of this process. They asked a ton of questions. Now it's going to take a few months for them to do a thorough background investigation to make sure Jeremy isn't someone bad or into things that are illegal, etc. You know...all that stuff! I guess at some point they are going to send an officer to our house to ask me some questions, too...I'm kinda nervous about it! :) Then he still has a psychological exam and an official interview where if everything else is completed, they will offer him a position in their department. He's getting nervous, but really excited...it looks now like if they do hire him, he will start academy in September, so he'll probably extend in the CG until then. Hopefully it will all fall into place. Please just pray that he will be cleared with his medical exam. I guess the doctors found that his liver enzymes are high, which could be something serious or it could be nothing...we have no idea, but now he has to do more test's for that. Just pray that it gets cleared up quickly. Other than that, everyone here is healthy and happy! :)

Hannah is getting SO big and tall!


I think this was when she tasted a fruity cheerio the other night and immediately after threw up! She gags so bad everything she eats that's "real" comes right back up...and makes a BIG mess for Mommy!!!
