Remembering

I'm sure we are all thinking back to 9/11 today...I remember I was about a week into my freshman year in college and I was getting ready to leave my room for chapel when my sister called to let me know what happened. I still to this day wish that I could've seen more media coverage of what really happened...it didn't seem real until I went home for Christmas and saw the planes hit the towers for the first time on the news. It's one of those things that no matter how long it's been or how many times you see it, it still makes you want to cry. We are remembering all the families involved today...and praying for them.

On a slightly happier note...we took the girls to the pet store last night. They loved seeing the birds, cats, and hamsters. :) We bought a betta fish...his name is Moe. He's very cute and the best part is that he's very low-maintenance!!! He seems to like living with us so far! :)


After the pet store we went to the dollar tree and we found the cutest little wigs for halloween...we bought a couple just to try them on the girls to see what they'd look like with long hair. The wigs were a little thinner than they looked in the package but they were only a dollar, so...it was still funny. They look so grown up!!
