Just wanted to share what's been up with us lately...
We are SUPER duper excited about Sarah Palin!!! I am not the brightest person out there when it comes to politics...I love to watch political shows and gain some sense of what's going on, but up until the RNC I have been very fearful about where things were headed with this election. It just seemed like McCain didn't stand a chance, but for the first time I think we Republicans are feeling hope not only that McCain could win, but that some major things in our country will change. Palin's speech certainly had me convinced!! I've been watching the news all last night and today and I've actually come to the conclusion that we no longer need to have a direct link to CNN on our blog!!! They are for Obama all the way...talk about biased! So...FOX News took it's place and we will be watching them from here on out. If you get a chance to watch Bill O'Reilly this coming week...he will be airing his interview with Obama on Mon. & Tues. I saw part of the interview that aired tonight and it was amazing how Obama didn't even have a response to some pretty good questions that we all have. Taxes, drilling...you name it. So, be an involved citizen and watch it, but most of all...keep praying!! Prayer is what's gonna win this election!!!!!
Ok...enough babbling about politics. :) We are doing well. Jeremy is still waiting to hear news about when the new test will be out for his job. Meanwhile, I've begun a new job search for myself. I quit working at the physical therapy office earlier this year because it was too hard with Jeremy trying to do his online classes and watch the girls, especially after a long day at work. But now we are really feeling tight with our budget and since he has an hour at work everyday to do his class work we're going to give it a shot again. It's not what I want to do, but...we just don't see any other options right now. It won't be fun, but we'll survive. I've applied online at Staples and I've filled out applications for Michaels craft store, and Barnes & Noble...gonna drop those off tomorrow. So, please pray I hear something soon.
The girls are doing great. Some teething still...which is frustrating since they are STILL at 22 mos. waking up a lot at night. Teething tablets seem to work pretty well.
Savannah has the busiest hands I've EVER seen, and she is constantly into drawers, pulling things off countertops, opening doors, and she absolutely LOVES getting into my purse!! Hannah is definitely a follower, so she doesn't usually think up the trouble, but she goes right along with it! :) They LOVE Elmo...Savannah calls him "Mo-mo". Whenever I sing Elmo's song Hannie busts out laughing...everytime. She thinks his voice is hilarious. I actually think he's pretty cute myself. :)
Well...that's what's new here. Can't really think of anything else, but then again it's 1:32 a.m. so my brain is starting to shut down. Hope you all have a great weekend. Our forecast is rain and wind (I'm guessing from hurricanes?) so our plans will probably include the mall. Take care everyone. We miss you all!!
Completely agree with you about Palin--I was worried about McCain but hopefully she'll have enough pull that he won't be that bad after all! :) And Heaven knows just about anyone would be better than Obama! Always nice to hear about others who have your same views ;) :)
