Update

I am very sleepy, so you'll have to bear with me on this one! It's been a loooooong day. The girls had kind of an "off" day...they woke up around the time Jeremy left this morning (@ 6:00) and then took their nap earlier in the morning. That meant they were up from about 11:00 this morning until 8:00 tonight...that's a very long stretch for them. Usually they go down for their nap in the early afternoon, so I think they'll be sleeping good tonight! At least we hope. =)

Not a whole lot is new here. The weather was gorgeous and comfortable today. I'm loving the cooler days. We got another fish so that Moe wouldn't be so lonely, only...he was very nasty to poor Maggie!! We decided to separate them and Jeremy took Moe to work and left Maggie here for the girls. (They are Betta fish and Jeremy looked on the internet to see if you could have more than one...they are known for fighting. Some sites say you can but most say you can't put them together at all. I think it's true!) I also got a new little vacuum that's a little more versatile for me. I like to vacuum in the evenings when the girls are in bed...I love our Oreck for when it needs to be thorough, but it's so loud and I just wanted something I can run over the kitchen floor and carpets before bed. I found a bissell that seems to work well...accept that it's still loud! I thought it was cordless like a shark, but it's not! Oh well...it will do. I've been wanting one for forever!!!

The Lord has been providing so many thing we've been needing lately. We also got the girls new booster seats so they can start learning how to sit up at the table with us. They seem to be adjusting to them very well and it's nice that now our mealtimes are a little more organized...instead of a parent and kid here, and a parent and kid there! =) Dinnertime was always really important at our house when I was a kid. It was something I looked forward to, and I hope that in spite of living in a very fast-paced world that we will always take time at the end of our day to talk and be together as a family. Here are some pictures and a couple videos from today.
