Thanksgiving Trip (Part Two)

So here is the final chapter of our vacation! I'm sorry I didn't get it posted with the rest but we're still catching up on everything around here and we've been pretty tired from the long trip.

We spent this past Friday (day after Thanksgiving) at Grandma Moffatt's house. All the relatives came and we enjoyed dinner that Grandma so graciuosly made. She always prepares a feast even if it's not a holiday...it was delicious!! She even made red velvet cake and that is my FAVORITE!! :) Here's a few pics from that night. I'm sorry we didn't get pics of everyone but here's some cute ones:

And here is Grandma with the girls the next morning. We headed out around 9:30 a.m. for home. Thank you for letting us stay with you, Grandma!

We drove about three hours and then dropped by to see our friends, Joel & Amanda. They offered for us to stop in and have lunch with them so the girls could stretch a little and so we could catch up. It's funny...the last time we saw them was on our trip to GA for Thanksgiving 2006. I had just had the girls about two weeks earlier. Wow...what were we thinking??? haha. :) Thank you Joel and Amanda for being so sweet and for feeding us! We really appreciate your friendship!

We had origionally planned to drive the rest of the way home on Saturday but we just didn't think it was a good idea, so we stopped at a hotel for the night right before we crossed the state line into VA. The only down side was that on Sunday the weather and traffic were HORRIBLE!!! It took us an extra hour to get home but the important thing is that we made it safe and sound! The Lord kept us safe and gave us a wonderful time with family. Thanks again to our family for EVERYTHING. We love you all so much!! Here's just a few last pictures from at the hotel and the trip home:
